PREMISES CABLING
Premises cabling is undergoing major changes:
- new cathegories appear (cat.6, cat.7)
- optical fiber begins to be used (FTTx)
- data rates increase
- new applications appear
Are copper cables really future-proof?
It's time that nominal data rates on copper drammatically increased and glass optical fiber is becoming somewhat common, but...
Is there a better way?
It's easy... it's plastic fiber

What if?
- Cross-talking and RF noise halve actual data rate?
You just accept it,or you use plastic fiber cables, because it always transmits at full speed (100 Mbps).
- Copper cables can't be laid in conduits by electric wires?
ou install new conduits or
you use a plastic fiber cable, because it's immune to EMI (electromagnetic intereferences) and can be side-by-side with electric cables.

America and Japan, at the forefront of cabling technologies, are increasingly using plastic fiber.
