Metallurgica Bresciana S.p.A.: founded in 1968, it's a renowed manufacturer of specialty electric and optical cables. It holds 40% of Luceat's shares and it's its main technological and financial partner. In 2005, it achieved record sales of ? 21,5 Mio with a 12% year-to-year increase. Metallurgica Bresciana is owned by a financial holding called Compagnia Bresciana Investimenti.

AIB: Luceat is associated to AIB (Associazione Industriale Bresciana), a local industrial association part of the national "Confindustria".

Università degli Studi di Brescia
- Automation dept.: Luceat còoperates with the automation department to develop new POF measurement and characterisation techniques and build improved measurement benches.
- Chemical dept.: following a multi-year research programme, the chemical department performs the characterisation and optimises the chemical process required for PMMA-based POF production; it also helps Luceat developing new plastic fibres' manufacturing processes.

Politecnico di Torino: in 2003 signed an agreement for a project that ended in November 2005. The project, entirely funded by Luceat , focused on the development of data transmission over POF for triple play and home networking applications.

Istituto Superiore Mario Boella: in January 1st, 2006, Luceat started an Eu-funded research project for the development of an "optical modem", to increase ADSL speeds by 100x at a cost affordable by everyone.

POF-AC - POF Application Center of Norimberga: the only worldwide institute exclusively devoted to the research and the development of plastic optical fiber is a partner of Luceat in a UE-funded project, for the development of an "optical modem" which will guarantee true broadband access for households.
