| Luceat invested to date more than 2.5 million euros in R&D, creating a revolutionary technology for data trasmission and building the first European POF manufacturing center.
We now focus on spreading our technology and applying it to the most different applications, to create new opportunities and to improve our knowledge. Our goal is to become the worldwide leading provider of integrated solutions for data communication over plastic optical fiber, and to be universally recognized as those who radically changed the basis of data communication. Luceat therefore supports many research initiatives, in cooperation with universities and research institutes worldwide, to develop new high speed communication applications with plastic optical fiber. One such initiative supports the distribution of the educational "Photonics Explorer kit" to European students, to engage them in hands-on experiment on light. "Press release" |
