HISTORY

Luceat S.p.A. was founded in 2000, with the mission to research, develop and manufacture data and light transmission systems over plastic optical fiber.

The founding partners are Alessandro Nocivelli and Metallurgica Bresciana S.p.A., a leading company in the production of electric and fiber optical cables for specialty applications.

Luceat is the only plastic optical fiber manufacturer in Europe and the only integrator of data trasmission systems over POF worldwide.

Applications of POF range in diverse markets such as automotive, aeronautical, naval, factory automation, robotic, LAN, video surveillance and home networking areas.

We believe that technology must be exploited to improve qiality of life; to this goal we strive to develop innovative solutions, yet useful and easy to use.
